As a first-time home buyer, the housing market can be an extremely difficult to traverse alone. Karla made it so easy for me, practically holding my hand every step of the way. No question was a “dumb” question and if there was a question that she might not have had an answer to (which did not happen often), she quickly found the answer and got back to me immediately. Incredibly impressed with Karla’s professionalism, industry knowledge and patience. I went back and forth many times on whether to sell my property or not. She never pushed me and allowed me to take my time. Once I put the home on the market, I did not have to wait long. There were numerous showings and it only took 2 weeks to sell! As is the game in real estate, the buyer encountered a slight delay in the process. Karla frequently updated me and was constantly following up with the buyer's realtor. Worked with Karla from overseas for our PCS to Fort Detrick and surrounding areas. She worked hard to meet all our needs and request. Very knowledgeable of the rental/buying markets and competition. Although we didn't get our first choice, she never stopped searching until we found the rental property that met our needs. Karla is the best. Her years of experience working for a lawyer really came in handy when we purchased a HUD home that had been vacant for two years. The government (HUD) owners were ready to let the deal go the day before settlement when they didn't know how to navigate the real estate laws in the state. Disappointed as we were, we accepted that we lost the house. But Karla looked up the laws, and made the government owners understand that they were essentially braking the law! We couldn't believe it when they caved, and thanks to Karla, we are now living in our new home!

My husband and I first became involved with Karla when we were looking to purchase a home. As first-time home buyers, we had no idea what we were in for! The market in this area turned out to be a lot more competitive than we were prepared for, and we really had a lot to learn along the way. Karla was endlessly patient with us, as we were constantly revising our budget and expectations as we learned more about the process. When a natural disaster forced us into a position where we had no choice but to look for another rental instead of purchasing a home due to time constraints (no time to go through the bidding, inspection, and closing process on a new home), Karla switched gears for us without one issue. She immediately helped us start looking for local rentals, and was just as responsive in showing us rentals as she was in showing us homes for purchase. If she was in any way put out by the turn of events, I certainly didn't pick up on it. She was never anything less than enthusiastic and gracious at every meeting, and above all, professional. Ultimately, when we found the place we like, it was Karla's negotiating skills that got us the place we wanted under the terms we needed.

I can't say enough good things about Karla. She is kind, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and she gave excellent observations at each rental property I saw.
